Okanagan Avenue, Armstrong BC Canada: shown here the grand veranda of a well-to-do turn-of-the-century house. Architectural columns; inside the large foyer leads to a formal diningroom that can seat 12 people comfortably. The house was formerly on several acres within a few minutes walk to Downtown Armstrong. In more recent years many of the properties have been subdivided, creating a slightly denser population to grow.
Danallanko Drive, Armstrong BC: this is a good example of the type of houses built on subdivided lots near the Downtown. This level-entry rancher is from the 1960's and kept up very nicely in stride with Armstrong BC's strong sense of community pride.
Pictured here on Dunn Road: in central area of Armstrong BC are typical rancher style homes. Armstrong real estate is varied and buyers can find pretty much all home styles within walking distance to Armstrong schools and shopping.
Catherine Crescent, Armstrong BC Canada: shown here is an example of more recent retirement style homes that have been built in quiet areas close to town. Executive style ranchers like this one feature easy maintenance yards and are primarily finished in typical Okanagan stucco or vinyl siding. Away from the traffic on a cul-de-sac, residents can enjoy small town tranquility in a modern street setting. Armstrong BC shopping and recreation is only minutes away, including the golf course.
Catherine Crescent Interior: quality finishing with architectural features, vaulted ceilings and bay windows are common in this style of Armstrong house, where floorplans cater to the retired buyer.
Real estate buyers have a variety of Armstrong townhouses to choose from. This image shows a well-kept Armstrong townhouse complex on Pleasant Valley Road built approximately 1980s. Armstrong agents can show units ranging from 1980s to new complexes built in the last few years.
