Coldstream BC celebrated it's centennial in 2006. As part of the North Okanagan Regional District, Coldstream joined Vernon to create the concept of Greater Vernon with forward-thinking regional growth in mind. Coldstream's population recently surpassed 10,000 and is a significant contributor to the Vernon BC and North Okanagan economies.
The North Okanagan BC receives thousands of family vacationers each year coming from British Columbia, Canada, and many countries around the world. From the north, via Salmon Arm and Sicamous, travelers exit the Trans Canada Highway and head south into the North Okanagan Region.
