The Commonage is a rural style area in the North Okanagan Valley adjacent to Lake Country in the Central Okanagan and Vernon BC. Commonage Road can be found three ways. Leaving Highway 97 at Bailey Road and the Predator Ridge sign, you will arrive at Commonage Road. A rural style area, the Commonage is the location of many North Okanagan hobby farms and acreages. The rolling hills of The Commonage are what lend Predator Ridge golf course its distinctive and challenging course structure. Commonage Road winds through the hills and around characteristic ponds making for a very enjoyable drive in all seasons and weather. Travel this hidden away portion of the North Okanagan - it is situated above Okanagan Landing on the south side of Okanagan Lake. On its opposite border one finds Highway 97 across which there are some wonderful views of Kalamalka Lake, Coldstream BC and Oyama BC.

It is a 5 to 10 minute drive to all modern amenities offered in Vernon. This proximity to the city while still enjoying the placid countryside and serene privacy is what Commonage residents enjoy so much. Opportunities for observing wildlife such as deer and birds make the Commonage a special paradise and some residents here have small agricultural enterprises.
