The Okanagan Indian Band at Vernon BC in the North Okanagan, is one of seven Indian Bands that make up the Okanagan Nation. Located on the west side of Okanagan Lake along Westside Road and terminating at Head of the Lake, the Band's land is over 11,000 hectares including significant Okanagan Lake waterfront, range lands and hillside across Westside Road.   Approximately 1700 band members live on the reserve by the North Arm of Okanagan Lake. The Band is located at 12420 Westside Rd. Vernon BC.
